It’s hard to remember temperature changes,
medications, and symptoms when speaking with a doctor.
Should I wake up my sleeping baby to check their temperature?

TEMA is specifically designed to be attached to the center of the inner armpit to measure temperature. Please note that attaching it to other areas may result in inaccurate readings.
Allow 10 Minutes After Application: The device requires time to stabilize with your body temperature after application. Accurate measurement is possible starting 10 minutes after applying.
Maintain Posture: For accurate measurement, please keep your arm close to your body after application to shield the thermometer from ambient air.
Cleanliness: Sweat, moisture, and lotion can reduce the patch's adhesion. Please wipe the application area clean and ensure it is completely dry before use.
After applying the device, allow some time for it to stabilize with your body temperature. Accurate body temperature readings are available 10 minutes after application.
TEMA must be applied to the center of the inner armpit to measure body temperature accurately. Please note that applying it to other areas may result in inaccurate readings.
Keeping your arm raised or open may cause the measured temperature to decrease due to exposure to outside air. Keep your arm close to your body so that the thermometer is shielded from external air.
Axillary temperature may differ from ear or forehead temperature. In general, axillary temperature readings are 0.5–1.0°C lower than ear temperature readings.
Temperature readings may also vary between different types of thermometers. Therefore, rather than simply comparing the numbers, it is recommended to monitor changes and trends in temperature consistently using the same measurement site.
The maximum wireless connection range is approximately 15 m (49 ft). However, communication may be disrupted when the space is separated by walls, doors, or other obstacles. For optimal connectivity, we recommend using the device within a single, open space whenever possible.
TEMA’s Bluetooth communication range is up to 15 m (49 ft) in an open space without obstacles. In actual home environments, the connection range may be reduced depending on walls, doors, or the user’s body obstructing the signal.
If the connection is frequently interrupted, please keep the thermometer and smartphone in the same room or space. Even if the connection is temporarily lost, the app will display the body temperature data received once communication is restored.
If notifications are not enabled in your smartphone settings, notifications will not be displayed. In addition, if your smartphone is set to Silent Mode, no notification sound will be played when an alert is triggered.
If High Temperature Alert, Low Temperature Alert, Trend Alert, or Medication Reminder is not enabled in the TEMA app settings, the corresponding notification will not be triggered.
The time indicated by the Trend Alert is an estimated time calculated based on recent temperature changes. The actual time when the High Temperature Alert is triggered may be earlier or later depending on factors such as movement, how closely the thermometer is positioned against the armpit, ambient temperature, and changes in the rate of temperature increase.
The Trend Alert is intended as a reference feature to help you monitor rising temperature trends and prepare in advance.
Yes, you can use TEMA without signing up. Tap the [Guest Mode] button at the bottom of the login screen to access the home screen and use the device without creating an account.
An internet connection is required when using the app. If there is no internet connection, measurement data will not be saved to the cloud server.
If you are unable to connect to the internet, we recommend using the [Guest Mode] to measure body temperature. Temperature data measured in [Guest Mode] will be merged with your account data once an internet connection is restored.
If all required app permissions are not enabled, the body temperature may not be displayed. Please check that Bluetooth is turned on, Location Permission is set to “Always Allow,” and Notifications are enabled.
The body temperature may also not be displayed if the thermometer is turned off or if the thermometer and smartphone are too far apart.
If the serial number shown in the app does not match the serial number on the thermometer, the body temperature may not be displayed. Please use the Change Device option to select the thermometer with the correct serial number.
Yes. You need to install the app to receive shared body temperature data. If you have received a temperature-sharing link, install the app first and create an account. Then, tap the sharing link to access the shared body temperature data.
The app is compatible with devices running iOS 13.0 or later or Android 6.0 or later.
Search for “TEMA” in the Google Play Store or App Store to download and install the app.
The TEMA app is currently available free of charge. After the service has been stabilized, some features may transition to a paid subscription model. We will provide separate notice if and when this change occurs.
TEMA features a built-in, non-replaceable battery.
The battery is integrated into the device to ensure safety, as a user-replaceable small battery could pose risks such as battery detachment, cover separation, or accidental ingestion by infants.
Once the battery is fully depleted, the product has reached the end of its service life. Please dispose of the entire device in accordance with applicable regulations.
The actual usage period may vary depending on the usage environment, but the thermometer can be used for up to 60 days of continuous use, based on a measurement interval of once per minute.
For example, if the thermometer is used 5 times a year, with each period of fever lasting 3 days, the device can be used for approximately 4 years.
The recommended maximum wear time for each adhesive patch is 8 hours.
To prevent skin irritation and ensure accurate measurements, please follow the recommended wear time and discard the patch after use.
Sweat, moisture, and lotion can reduce the adhesive strength of the patch. Please clean the application area thoroughly and make sure it is clean and dry before applying the patch.
If the thermometer is attached perpendicular to the direction of your body, the patch may lift or come off. Attach the thermometer in the same direction as your body to ensure stable contact with the skin.
No. TEMA adhesive patches are single-use products and cannot be reused. Once used, the patch may lose its adhesive strength and may pose hygiene concerns. Please use a new patch for each application.
No. TEMA must be attached using the dedicated TEMA adhesive patch.
Using a regular adhesive bandage or adhesive tape may prevent the thermometer from staying securely positioned at the center of the armpit. Differences in adhesive strength may also result in inaccurate temperature readings.
Yes. The adhesive patches are available for separate purchase in boxes of 10.
TEMA adhesive patches are specifically designed for the TEMA electronic thermometer and are not compatible with other patches.
If you experience a rash, itching, or pain at the patch application site, stop using the patch immediately. If the symptoms persist, please consult a doctor.
This product has an IP22 rating and is not designed to be used in environments where it is directly exposed to water, such as during bathing.
Please remove the device before bathing and reattach it after bathing.
The recommended operating temperature for this product is 15–35°C (59–95°F), and indoor use is recommended.
If you engage in outdoor activities while wearing the device, it may be difficult to keep your arm close to your body and shield the thermometer from outside air. In addition, sweat and moisture may reduce the adhesive strength of the patch, which can affect measurement accuracy.
